Kumbhalgarh
Kumbhalgarh Fort was built in the 15th Century by Maharana Kumbha lies in the Rajasamand District and is about 64kms to north of Udaipur City.
The fort provides a panoramic view of the downtown and has a Badal Mahal (Cloud Palace) overlooking the entire old city area.It also has many temples inside the most prominent being the Shiv Temple.
Kumbhalgarh is the birth place of Maharana Pratap the famous king of Mewar who is regarded as the greatest warrior of thr Rajputana. The ravines of the fort offers a chance to explore and spend a pleasurable evening while appreciating the Mewar legacy with much awe and wonder.
